CAMP OVERVIEW Advanced Hitting Clinic – This Hitting Clinic is for the serious ballplayer. The clinic will center around the “5 Foundations of Hitting” as well as covering the components of the “complete hitter.” Included in the clinic will be lecture, drills, live batting practice and video analysis. This is a hands-on clinic where you will learn the same drills currently used by the Michigan State Baseball program. The clinic will be held at MSU’s Indoor Practice Facility (IPF) located at Kobs Field. The IPF facility is an 8,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility that houses 4 full-length batting cages as well as an Iron Mike pitching machine, Hack Attack machines and a ProBatter Professional PX2 pitching machine. Registration will be held at the Indoor practice facility. Spartans Comprehensive Kids Camp - Covers knowledge of all aspects of baseball. Each camper will be given instruction and put through various drills to enhance knowledge of the game.
Hitting Camp - Covers complete fundamentals in hitting. Each camper will be given instruction along with various hitting drills to enhance their offensive game.
Pitching - Covers various drills and mechanics to help create an efficient delivery. Camp will cover arm care, drills and pitcher fielding practice.
All Camps will take place in the Duffy Daugherty Football Building and/or the Indoor Practice Facility located next to Kobs Field. A confirmation email will be sent acknowledging receipt of payment and will include specific instructions. Please allow 5-7 working days for a response.
Cancellation Policy: Your camp fee, less a $50 administrative fee will be refunded if you cancel two weeks prior to camp. At any time after that date, refunds will be made due to medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physician. There will be a $50 fee assessed for each return check. Camp Store: Spartan apparel will be on sale at the camp.
